Historically:
1. We attended/Participated in live Music (1950s and earlier)
2. Purchased analog recordings on vinyl records and cassette
tapes
3. Purchased digital recording on CDs
We spent a lot of money on the recordings and the equipment to
play those recording on. How much did you spend per month on
music?
Do you store your music on your computer? On your smart phone?
On your tablet? Do you have your music backed up? What
happens to your music when you get a new computer, etc.?
Now we don't have to own our music to listen to it. We don't
have to store it on our devices or make backups. Because we
mostly stream or download our music online, we can play it on
any of our devices.
